Whoa...

Its 1:25 in the afternnoon and I just rolled out of bed 20 minutes ago....and only because I was hungry and had to let the dogs out..I was responsible tho, and got up after 3 hours sleep to get Mad off to school with a well packed lunch, then went back to bed...I had a pretty outstanding day yesterday. Madi bought me the Special Edition of my favorite ever book, Outlander.  Ive been reading it all day..I love that book series! My Bunny knows me so well.. I also have a pretty fabulous husband... surprised his wife with tickets to the concert of the only man she would leave him for, if that aint love...what the hell is?

It was pretty sweet birthday.....right up there next to one where I was born..Im very blessed to have my family who love me so much..I *should* have re-thought my choice of shoes however..but in all fairness, I thought I was going to a restaurant called The Blue Oyster to listen to a live blue's band....now, I know the restaurant was totally a fake, non existant place and instead, I stood and jumped and danced and sang in heels for 4 hours....but o so well worth it.

This is me on my way to the ficticious restaurant "The Blue Oyster" which I was actually kinda excited for....

Afterwards, we walked over to the casino, I had to walk on the sidewalk and across the parking lot in barefeet, which, I dont at all recommend, but desperate times call for desperate measures..it was kinda wicked tho walking on the Stampede Grounds at 230 in the morning where there are normaly thousands of people..to have it  be only me and The Mister and dead silence downtown in a city of a million..Its a very wonderful newly cherished memory..

I was talking to a lovely lady the other day about furniture and in the conversation, I realized I never posted this sidetable...

I painted this sidetable for a client in Lethbridge with "funky" as the directions... I used her pallet of colors but otherwise was just left to create....

Its happily home and she loved it...and I had a lot of fun painting it...Its more my personal style and I rarely get custom client orders that ask for 12 different colors and "funky"...I love every single thing I paint..the process and creation but sometimes, pieces are just pure fun to do!

Im back to my couch and book..The next day after a 3:00am bedtime used to be the hangover Id have to deal with, but now its just being so super sleep-y..Man, wearing heels 2x in one week to go out-out, 33 is starting off snaz-zy.
